From a background studying art and design I moved into tattooing 20+ years ago.
I began working in London street shops across a breadth of artistic styles and tattoo movements.
I gradually moved towards the Japanese pantheon of images, drawn to the traditions, rich narratives and stories and the striking tattoos that can be produced.
I found myself working at the iconic London studio ‘Into You’ which allowed me to focus in this creative direction and specialise in this bold and dynamic style.
Since then and over the years I have had the privilege of working with amazing artists within the countries most creative studios allowing me to develop a style of work which aims to respect to the traditions, images and narratives of the past whilst reinterpreting them for contemporary clients.
I am now tattooing in Leamington Spa with the exceptional artists at Valentines Tattoo, Warwickshire’s finest studio!! We are a short journey from Warwick, Coventry and Birmingham and are easily accessible by rail from London.
I love tattooing and it’s rich history, I love the expression, the collaboration, the creativity, the diversity and the ability for a form of art to connect and unite us.
Whether working on large scale or small projects, working from my ideas, classic themes and images or collaborating and developing a client’s ideas, I love tattooing.
